After over 15 years of supporting the Business Development of large media groups, Mihai Craiu decided to harness all this expertise into a company of his own. MEDIA CONSULTA INTERNATIONAL, the company he started in 2003 registered, in 2011, a turnover of EUR 15,000,000. The agency provided business consultancy services to clients such as Reiffeisen/Merill Lynch and provided marketing and communication services to clients such as: ARDAF, Member of Generali PPF Investments Group ASIROM, member of VIG Insurance Group, Petrom, McDonald’s Romania.

The agency has also a strong public tenders department by which it has managed to secure and provide outstanding services to state-owned clients such as: Transelectrica, MDTR, The Romanian Cultural Institute (ICR), and The Ministry of the Environment, The Ministry of Labour, Bucharest Municipal Council, The University of Bucharest, and The Brokers’ Association. Media Selling, Planning and Consultancy are an important part of the agency’s services. Through its high class media specialists, MEDIA CONSULTA INTERNATIONAL exclusively manages the advertising inventory of: Realitatea TV, Realitatea de Constanta, Romantica TV, Taraf TV, and Etno TV. 

Together with his Consulting Team, Mihai Craiu managed to keep the firm among the Top Five Independent management consulting firms, with a stable 18% profit margin through the past six years. For the past four years, MEDIA CONSULTA INTERNATIONAL has been certified under the ISO 9001 Quality Management System. The firm is part of the International Advertising Agencies Association in Romania (IAAA Romania) and of the Romanian Association for Audience Measurement (ARMA).

Mihai Craiu holds an EMBA in Strategic Negotiations and Deal Making for the Long Term from Harvard Business School, Boston, USA. He graduated with a Major in Political Studies from the National School of Political and Administrative Studies.

Over the last 20 years he permanently attended professional trainings in Client Relationship Management and Negotiations (ex. as a scholar with the Soros Foundation and The Ministry of Education in Madrid, Spain, or as a CODECS Student: The Clients Relationship Management).

He is Board Member of the Centre for European Studies, Romania and Romsoft shareholder.

He publishes Industry Reports for the most important domestic and European Business magazines and is an active militant for the Lobby Activities on the Romanian market.

Carl Bernstein and Bob Woodward, the famous American investigative journalists are coming to Romanian to discuss with the Romanian Media their most impactful Investigative efforts: reporting on the Watergate scandal.
